Delivering Relief to Antigua, Guatemala

1.  Scope and Goals:  To deliver relief supplies to Antigua, Guatemala, being safely sent to those who need them without damage or loss.
2.  People and Resources:  A small commercial plane to load supplies into, which will fly from Des Moines to Guatemala City, a rented trailer to take supplies from Guatemala City to Antigua, the supplies themselves, about five people and twelve thousand dollars.  The people will need to be able to fly the plane, build, aid in loading and unloading, and help the local agency with the supplies.
3.  Vision: To glorify God by aiding the poor in Antigua, Guatemala with relief supplies.
4.  Obstacles: Cost, possible danger, language barrier, finding a commercial plane in Iowa, finding a trailer in Guatemala City, near the airport, and obtaining passports.  Navigating them will involve raising support from people and churches, researching planes, asking the relief agency to research trailers, and obtaining cultural and linguistic knowledge and passports.
5.  Evaluation: Did the supplies arrive safely, intact, and in a timely and cost-effective way?  Did all of the people involved return safely?
